AA6KJ (Black Rock, Arkansas)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I was first licensed in Finland as OH6KJ. After being nearly 30 years QRT, I got back into this great hobby in the summer 2012 as AA6KJ. Currently enjoying chasing DX and contesting (mostly CW but now also FT8…). Moved from Simi Valley, CA to Annieville, AR in 2024. Enjoying (RF) quiet country life! Amplifiers:<\/strong> Acom 2000A<\/a> and Elecraft KPA-1500<\/a> (1.5 kW). Both amplifiers are computer controllable using KPA-1500 Utility<\/a> (Linux) and Acom director classic<\/a> (under wine emulation).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Software: <\/strong>qlog<\/a> (logging), not1mm<\/a> (contesting), and WSJT-X Improved<\/a> (digital modes). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Remote access:<\/strong> Arch Linux<\/a> system running x11vnc server<\/a>, which is accessible from the Internet through VPN tunnel<\/a> using TigerVNC<\/a> (Linux) or AVNC<\/a> (Android) clients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
